Web site No caption was contained in the photo file High above the fabric roof of the DakotaDome on the USD campus, steel workers are busy fabricating the intricate, web-like structure that will be the center of the new metal roof over the sports center. When all the beams are in place, the tower that is holding the structure in place will be removed and the building will have a clear span inside. Construction of the Dome's new roof is scheduled to be completed this fall in time for normal sports activities to take place.
