History scholarships awarded The University of South Dakota Department of History recently presented numerous scholarships to students majoring in history.
The awards were presented at the annual History Banquet this spring.
The following area students were awarded scholarships or awards for their academic achievements:
Guy Eggers of Wakonda, son of Bill and Sharon Eggers was awarded the Cedric and Evelyn Cummins Scholarship.
Kari Rustand of Vermillion, daughter of Gerald and Cheryl Martin, was awarded the Donald Bechtel Scholarship.
