Margheim receives Citation Award

Margheim receives Citation Award Timothy Margheim from Vermillion recently received the Citation Award, the crowning achievement for years of dedication to the Awana program.

For young people involved in the Awana program, earning the Citation Award is the ultimate achievement. It represents a minimum of 10 years worth of hard work and service. The Citation is their reward for having spent countless hours attending club meetings, working with children, getting involved in their communities and memorizing approximately 1,000 Bible verses.

"That kind of commitment and self-motivation is tremendously admirable and rarely seen these days," said Awana President/CEO Jack Eggar. "Completing the requirements for the Citation is a demonstration of a person's ability to stick to the task, no matter how much difficulty they face, and it's a sign of his or her commitment to serving Christ in their everyday lives. We are extremely proud of each and every person who receives this award."

Awana Clubs International is one of the largest nondenominational children and youth ministries in the world, with one million children attending clubs each week in more than 100 countries around the world.
