Nickeson receives Hy-Vee scholarship Erica Nickeson of Vermillion is among 40 college students recently awarded a scholarship by Hy-Vee, Inc.
Nickeson was chosen for the $1,000 award because of her academic achievements and demonstrated interest in school and community activities. She attends The University of South Dakota and works at the Vermillion Hy-Vee.
Hy-Vee has provided scholarships to students since 1969. This year, the company gave $80,000 in awards to high school and college students seeking degrees in a four-year college program.
