Nygaard honored by Sioux Valley Mark Nygaard was selected by the PRIDE Committee at Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center as the May 2001 PRIDE Employee of the Month.
Nygaard is a part-time nursing assistant in the hospital and a full-time USD student.
"Mark is another great example of our dedicated student employee group. His interest in a health care center is off to a good beginning," said John Paulson, CEO.
Nygaard was recognized for his willingness to "pitch in" and to go the "extra mile" to help with patient care activities in the hospital.
