Parsons receives WSU scholarship Bill Parsons of Vermillion, was awarded a $600 first place award in the Dr. William R. Wiley Exposition of Scholarship and Research competition this spring at Washington State University, Pullman, WA.
The 1995 Vermillion High School graduate earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering in 1999 from South Dakota State University. Currently, he is a graduate student in civil engineering at WSU.
Parsons is the son of Rose Marie and Roger Parsons of Vermillion.
