Thompson honored

Thompson honored Top award winners were named Saturday, June 2, during the final day of South Dakota Girls State at South Dakota State University in Brookings.

Ashley Thompson of Vermillion was named commissioner of school and public lands and received a $150 scholarship from The University of South Dakota.
