Will wed

Will wed Marvin and Pat Girard of Wakonda, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carmen to Scott Giles of St. Clair Shores, MI.

Girard is a 1995 graduate of Wakonda High School and graduated from Huron University with a degree in sports management and marketing. She is currently working as the non profit supervisor for the Detroit Tigers.

Giles is a 1993 graduate of Lake View High School and graduated from Huron University with a degree in elementary education. He is currently teaching fifth grade at Rainbow Elementary in Clinton Township, MI and is assistant varsity football coach at Lake View High School. A wedding is planned in Wakonda on June 23.
