Brooks receives SDSU scholarship Patrick Brooks of Vermillion was awarded the Campanile Scholarship for the 2001-2002 school year at South Dakota State University.
Brooks will be a freshman engineering major at SDSU this fall. He is the son of Keith and Gloria Brooks of Vermillion and a May 2001 graduate of Vermillion High School.
He has been active in the honors program, National Honor Society, a mentor tutor, the academic all-state football team, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, St. Agnes Catholic Youth Group, and high school football, basketball and baseball.
