Melissa Buck honored as July Employee of Month Melissa Buck, certified nursing assistant at the Sioux Valley Vermillion Care Center, was selected as the July PRIDE Employee of the Month.
Buck was recognized because "she is upbeat and has a great rapport with residents and staff. She treats everyone she encounters with respect and true caring. She is an asset to our facility and is liked by all," according to her nomination.
"Melissa is an important part of our nursing staff at the care center. Her demonstration of the PRIDE and Service Excellence Programs make Melissa a true asset to our facility," said John Paulson, chief executive officer of Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center.
Buck is a graduate of Scotland High School and is a student at The University of South Dakota.
