Midwest Homes announces Dakotas Tour golf event

Midwest Homes announces Dakotas Tour golf event Midwest Homes, Inc., has announced its upcoming second annual Dakotas Tour Golf Championship, to be held Sept. 6-9 at The Bluffs in Vermillion.

This year's format will pair one of 40 "young gun pro" golfers with an amateur player on a blind draw. The teams will engage in three days of net game with handicaps.

The schedule of events is:

Thursday, Sept. 6 � Practice round for pros and amateurs.

Friday, Sept. 7 � First round of play with beginning tee time at 7:30 a.m.; Pro/Am dinner for players and their guests at 7 p.m. at the Eagles and calcutta to follow.

Saturday, Sept. 8 � Second round of play with beginning tee time at 7:30 a.m.; Hospitality night at Midwest Homes at 7 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 9 � Final round of play with beginning tee time for amateurs at 7:30 a.m., pros at noon; Awards presentation on the 18th green at approximately 7 p.m.
