United in marriage Janelle Holoch and Michael Jones exchanged wedding vows May 19 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls with the Rev. Don Lehmann presiding.
The bride is the daughter of June and Harold Holoch of Vermillion. The groom is the son of Don and Marcia Jones, Sioux Falls, and Shawn and Doug DeGroot, Chester.
The maid of honor was Nicole Sanow, Vermillion, and best man was Cory Driscoll, Brookings. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Angove, Spearfish, Dulce Kickland, Lawrence, KS, and Elisabeth Lietz, Austria. The bride's personal attendant was Melissa Bennett of Vermillion.
Groomsmen were Chris Longhenry, Brookings, Matt Rasmussen, Brookings, and Jeff Hollander, Minneapolis, MN.
Flowergirls were Kaylee Kaster, George, IA, and Samantha Bahe, Pierre. Ringbearers were Ira and Lance Sherman, Baltic. Ushers were Jeff Streff, Alton, IA, and Matt Gorter, Luverne, MN. The bride's brothers, John and Jason Holoch of Vermillion, were ushers and candlelighters. The groom's sister, Michelle Jones, attended the guest book.
A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Holiday Inn in Sioux Falls.
After a honeymoon trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple moved into their new home in Brookings. Mrs. Jones will be finishing her degrees at SDSU in advertising and graphic design. Her husband graduated this year from SDSU with a degree in music education. He is the band director at Castlewood School in Castlewood.
