Boys' golf team places second The Tanager golf team played a triangular match against Lennox and Canton on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at Lenkota CC in Lennox. The varsity came in second with a 184 for the nine hole match. Lennox scored 172 and Canton had 192. Ben Dangle from Lennox was medalist with a 40 score.
Scores for Vermillion individuals were: Chris Moen � 43, Paul Tims � 45, Nathan Boots � 46, Darren Martin � 50, and Ryan Powell � 57.
The JV scores were: Jared Bates � 48; Joel Anderson � 49; Charles Odson and Steve Foltz � 52 each, Dan Pearson � 53; Sage Koch � 54; Jack Higgins � 55 and Steve Tims � 58. Lennox JV medalist was Justin Burma with a 39, and the final JV team scores were Orioles � 174 and Tanagers � 201.
