Exchange vows Teresa Ann Gengerke and Brian William Fairley were married Aug. 18 at First Assembly of God, Aberdeen, with the Rev. Gary Wilson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Norman and Ellen Gengerke, Groton, and Irene Fairley and the late William Fairley of Gayville.
Maid of honor was Trish Gengerke, Phoenix, AZ. Bridesmaids were Mary Bowne, White, Lara Gengerke, Groton, Shawna Alwin, Sioux Falls, and Carissa Iverson, Langdon, ND. Flower girl was Devann Ellis, Sioux Falls.
The bride's personal attendants were Shania Legg, Pierre, and Tressa Zahrbock, Vermillion. Flower pinner was Beth Roesler, Colorado Springs, CO. Stacey and Jeff Dreesen, Meckling, attended the guest book.
Mark Fairley, Gayville, was best man. Groomsmen were Robbie Kool, Vermillion, Pat Beeman, Akron, IA, Jim Legg, Pierre, and Terry Steichen, Sioux Falls.
Ring bearer was Matthew Guthmiller, Aberdeen. Ushers were Shawn Gengerke, Groton, Ryan Gengerke, Kingwood, TX, Max Roesler, Colorado Springs, CO, and Jory Freeburg, Gayville. Wedding music was provided by Lana Alwin, pianist, Tom and Lorrie Foster, Aberdeen, and Stacey Dreesen, Meckling.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Ramada Inn, Aberdeen, with Shirley Guthmiller, Aberdeen, and Pam Davis, Bath, as hosts. Punch was served by Heidi Walth, Rochester, MN. Cake was cut/served by Anita Wilcox and Jan Inches, Aberdeen. The bride is a graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, as an RN. The groom is a graduate of The University of South Dakota in Vermillion with a degree in history. He is self-employed as a farmer near Gayville. The couple resides in Gayville.
