Two USD professors named distinguished scholars The SAP University Alliance Program recently named Dr. Robert Rosacker and Stephen Tracy, faculty members at The University of South Dakota School of Business, "Distinguished Scholars."
Tracy is the director of Professional Services and the Business Research Bureau at USD. He received a B.S. in economics and an MBA at USD. His primary teaching areas are integrated business processes, enterprise resource management and economic principles. His professional and research interests include business research and development, integrated information systems and the development of instructional material for integrated information systems.
Rosacker received an M.S. in taxation at Colorado State University. He received a Ph.D in accounting at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1989. Rosacker's primary teaching areas include accounting information systems and financial accounting. His professional and research interests include welfare reform and electronic benefit transfer systems. He has done both tax preparation and forensic accounting.
