Literary project seeks works for magazine Writers and artists are invited to submit their original, previously unpublished works for possible publication in Vermillion Literary Project's annual literary magazine. Short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction (essays), and black-and-white artwork (drawings and photographs) are welcome, with a South Dakota connection.

E-mail submissions to projlit@usd.edu or mail them to The Vermillion Literary Project, Dakota Hall #226, University of South Dakota, 414 E. Clark Street, Vermillion, SD 57069-2390. All text submissions should be typed; prose should be double-spaced. Manuscripts and artwork are submitted at the author's or artist's own risk and will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed, postage-paid return envelope. Deadline for submissions: Dec. 1.

The Vermillion Literary Project is a non-profit literary organization at The University of South Dakota, consisting of USD student volunteers of all majors.
