On Duty Local law enforcement reports
A woman on Bloomingdale reported finding a small, scared dog in the road. A similar dog had been reported missing from the area of the 800 block of Rose St., two weeks prior. The owner was contacted and "Baxter" was taken home.
A noise complaint was received at 12:22 a.m. in the 500 block of Elm St. The anonymous caller reported a loud party. One person was arrested outside the residence. The 20-year-old male from Gayville was charged with underage consumption.
While doing bar checks in the 10 block of W. Main at 11:51 p.m., officers arrested a 19-year-old male for underage consumption. He was also in possession of a fake ID.
Intentional damage was reported in the 200 block of E. Clark at 2:50 a.m. At least two glass beer bottles had been thrown at the house and three windows were broken.
A noise complaint was received at 5:24 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Pine. The caller reported loud music and people running around since midnight. A citation was issued to the resident, a 20-year-old male, for disorderly house.
Residents at Suburban Estates, in the 800 block of E. Duke, reported at noon that 14 mobile homes had been vandalized with spray paint. Investigation continues.
Officers arrested three females at 12:20 a.m. in a bar in the 10 block of E. Main. They were all 20-years-old and charged with underage consumption. Two of the three had fake IDs with them.
Information was received about possible drug use in a motel in the 100 block of E. Cherry at 9:29 a.m. The highway patrol drug dog was used at the location and a search warrant was obtained for two rooms. A 29-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana and a 20-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 22-year-old male reported that on Oct. 19 a foot pedal board in a case, valued between $1,100 and $1,200, was stolen while he loaded electronic equipment into his vehicle after playing in a band downtown.
