Tanager golfers rebound with win by Jim Prosser A rapid turnaround in the Tanager golf team fortunes brought a victory over the Canton C-Hawks in a match played on Thursday, Sept. 27.
The nine-hole match involved both varsity and JV teams and both came away with a win.
The varsity team score was 179-194 with individual scores of: Rob Schaack 43, Nathan Boots 43, Chris Moen 46, Joel Anderson 47; and Brad Schaack 49.
The JV team score was 186-238 for Vermillion. Member scores were: Paul Tims 45; Steve Foltz 46; Dan Pierson 47; Jack Higgins 48; Ryan Powell and Jared Bates 50 each; and Charles Odson and Steve Tims 58 each.
