USD hosts print exhibition The University of South Dakota Art Galleries is pleased to present "Ken Grizzell and Friends: Silkscreen Prints" in the Main Gallery of the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts until Oct. 20.
The show celebrates the artistic and teaching life of the recently retired USD art professor.
"Ken Grizzell and Friends" includes over 30 prints by Grizzell in addition to over a dozen silkscreens created by selected students.
Grizzell taught art education and silkscreen printmaking at USD between 1976 and 1999. During this time he earned a national reputation as a leading silkscreen printmaker and inspired scores of students to follow in his footsteps.
The Main Gallery in USD's Warren M. Lee Center for the Arts is open to the public free of charge from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 1 to 5 p.m. weekends.
