Willroth graduates from repair course Marine Corps Cpl. Timothy A. Willroth, son of Tammy D. Russell, Maryville, TN, and William H. Willroth, Vermillion, recently graduated from the Helicopter Dynamic Component Intermediate Maintenance Repair Course at Fleet Replacement Skills Training, Helicopter Marine Training 302, Marine Corps Air Station New River, Jacksonville, NC.
During the five-week course, Willroth received initial training in the intermediate level repair of helicopter components, as well as corrosion prevention and basic helicopter training.
Willroth also received instruction on how to troubleshoot and repair major components such as rotor hubs, drive systems, flight controls, gearboxes and subcomponents.
After graduating, Willroth reported aboard with Marine Helicopter Training Squadron 302, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station New River, Jacksonville, NC.
Willroth is a 1998 graduate of Vermillion High School and joined the Marine Corps in August 1998.
