Golden anniversary Leonard "Whimpy" and Rita Girard, former Vermillion residents celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 16.
A celebration was held at Suni-Sands Park in Yuma, AZ, where they reside during the winter months. Their summer home is at Senior Estates and Country Club in Woodburn, OR.
A weekend family celebration was held at Murrayhill State Park. In attendance were their five chilren and spouses and 15 grandchildren.
