Johnson staffer to conduct Clay County Outreach Day Sonja Dean, staff assistant in Sen. Tim Johnson's Sioux Falls office, will hold a Clay County Outreach Day on Thursday, Nov. 15 at Toby's Lounge in Meckling 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
While in Clay County, Dean will meet with local community and business officials.
"Many of my constituents are unable to travel to my offices in Rapid City, Aberdeen or Sioux Falls," Johnson said. "Traveling Office Hours help me remain in touch with the concerns of all South Dakotans. They provide an opportunity for people to stop by and share their views, ask questions or request help with a problem.
"South Dakotans are my number one priority, and I want to make sure that everyone regardless of where they live has an opportunity to meet personally with my staff," Johnson added.
Johnson encourages active participation in local and federal government and said that South Dakotans should always feel free to call, write or visit his service offices in Aberdeen, Sioux Falls, Rapid City or Washington, DC to share their concerns. South Dakotans may also email Johnson's office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
