USD football player dies in crash Jesse Worsley, a member of The University of South Dakota Coyotes football team, died Sunday, Nov. 18 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near his hometown of Caledonia, MN.
Worsley, 20, a redshirt freshman, was a backup offensive lineman for South Dakota during the 2001 season. He was a general studies major.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, at the United Methodist Church in Caledonia. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
