Jeremy Johnson is deployed Air Force Staff Sgt. Jeremy M. Johnson has deployed to a forward operating area to support the mission of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Enduring Freedom is the biggest U.S. military mobilization since the Gulf War in 1991. Members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces have been deployed and activated to support the war against terrorism. The operation also includes humanitarian relief airdrops of daily rations for the Afghan people who do not support the terrorist network or regime.
Johnson is a supply technician normally assigned to the 366th Supply Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID.
He is the son of Michael and Lisa Johnson, Vermillion.
The recently promoted staff sergeant is a 1997 graduate of Vermillion High School.
