Emergency units were called out Friday, Dec. 21 at about 1 p.m. to handle the latest incident involving two vehicles at the crossing. It was reported Laura Bell, 117 Court Street, driving a Ford Expedition heading south on Highway 19, pulled into the intersection and was struck another car driven by Stephanie Waters of Yankton who was headed east on the bypass. Clay County Sheriff's Deputy, Paul Pederson, cited Bell for failure to yield after stopping. No serious injuries were reported.
