Lucia festival planned

Lucia festival planned The Dalesburg Scandinavian Association takes pleasure in announcing its annual Lucia Festival, a traditional Swedish holiday.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 in the Dalesburg Lutheran Church, 30595 University Road, or five-and-one-half miles west of Exit 38 on Interstate 29.

There will be a Scandinavian

program featuring the crowning of Lucia.

Scandinavian food will be served. A freewill offering may be made.
