Nurse practitioner joins Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic

Nurse practitioner joins Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic Paula O'Neill has joined the Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic.

She is a graduate of the Creighton University Nurse Practitioner Master's Program and has extensive experience in emergency care, most recently working at the Winnebago Public Health Service Hospital.

O'Neill started working with Drs. Vicki Walker, Mary Jo Olson, Coen Klopper, and Chris Hugo Dec. 1. She is assisting in acute care services in the clinic and the hospital, as well as working to improve patient education, wellness services, and streamline care for chronic medical conditions.

"We are thrilled to have Paula joining our staff. She is a tremendous asset to our local healthcare community, and will help us expand the services we want to offer our patients and families," Walker commented. "Our practice is continuing to grow and Paula's experience and personality will be great addition to our team."

A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who has advanced education and clinical training in a health care specialty area. O'Neill's specialty area is family practice. She and her husband Jerry have 5 children and live in Ponca, NE.
