Preparing for nationals The Vermillion High School show choir Rhythm in Red has been busy rehearsing for the Branson Jubilee National Show Choir Competition. The Vermillion High School show choir Rhythm in Red has been busy rehearsing for the Branson Jubilee National Show Choir Competition. This group will be the sole representative of South Dakota at this event. It will be held in Branson, MO from April 18-21. World-renowned music educators, composers, choreographers, professional musicians and entertainers will provide the adjudication and clinics. This event will provide the best opportunity in the nation for the Rhythm in Red to see how they compare with the nation's best show choirs. They are currently fundraising to earn money for their trip. For more information or to donate money to help fund the group's trip, contact Kristin Iverson, choral director at Vermillion High School. Show choir members participating in rehearsals this week include Jon Hoadley, Dan Pearson, Mary Nelson, Justin Manning, Amber Reisdorph, Heather Reeves, Ashley Thompson, Paul Wait, Collin Prosser, Carey Engstrom and Camille Andrews.
