Vermillion gymnasts sweep match by Jim Prosser The Vermillion Tanager varsity gymnastics team scored a comfortable win Tuesday, Dec. 11 and defeated the West Central Lady Trojans 120.5-113.1. The young Tanager JV team also won 68.95 � 46.1, to complete a successful evening.

The junior varsity placed several girls in the vault: Megan Deaver � first; Bethany Sand � second; Megan Epping � third; Amy Mare � fourth and Tristen Upward � fifth (tie).
The uneven bars had the top five scorers also: Kaili Johnson, Tristen Upward, Kristin Welk, Amanda Haukass, and Theresa Ring, in that order. In floor exercise, Krystal Clark was first, Haukass was fourth, and Upward was fifth; and in the balance beam Haukass placed fourth and Epping was tied at fifth.
