Vermillion swimmers compete at Sioux City

Vermillion swimmers compete at Sioux City Eight Vermillion Area Swim Team members competed in the Sioux City Mariners Tri-State Meet Dec. 8, under the direction of coach Sara Hamlet. Results were:

9-10 boys: Taylor Jensen � fourth 100 IM; fifth 50 breast; seventh 50 fly; ninth 50 free; 12th 50 back.

9-10 girls: Katrina Collins � eighth 50 free; ninth 50 back; 11th 50 fly, 100 IM; 20th 50 breast. Karissa Martin � first 50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 free, 200 IM.

11-12 boys: Tony Jensen � first 50 fly, 50 breast, 50 free, 200 IM.

11-12 girls: Rebecca Girlinghouse � 14th 50 free; 12th 50 breast. Elizabeth Day � seventh 50 free; ninth 50 back; 13th 50 breast.

13-14 boys: Darren Martin � first 100 fly, 100 back, 50 free, 200 IM; second 100 breast.

15-16 boys: Justin Manning � first 100 IM; second 100 fly, 100 back, 100 free, 100 breast.
