We had some very good individual performances against Yankton. Sarah Christopherson had an excellent vault, but hurt her knee on the bars, said Coach Mark Upward. We will just have to wait and see how much she can do next week.
In the JV section, Tristen Upward placed first on the balance beam, and second on bars, which gave her the second place in all around. Megan Epping had the best Tanager JV score on floor and placed fifth in all around, and Kaili Johnson had a good showing by placing sixth in all around. More than a dozen young Vermillion gymnasts had a chance to compete in the JV division.
