Young grapplers compete in tourney The following members of the Vermillion Youth Wrestling Club participated in the Elk Point Jefferson youth wrestling tournament on Jan. 5: Wyatt Johnson � fourth, Cole Johnson � fourth, Michael Wingen � first, Austin Martinson � third, William Mart � third, Tanner Mart � first, Chris Mart � third, Nick Mart � first, Casey Carlson � second, Tyler Osborne � third, Heath Pederson � second, Dylan Fischbach � second, Gage Thomas � fourth and Matthew Moore � fourth.
The Vermillion Youth Wrestling Club practices at the high school on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and is open to all over age 5. A club has scheduled a youth tournament for Vermillion on Sunday, Feb. 17.
