Veitz receives SCSU scholarship St.Cloud State University (SCSU) has announced the recipients of SCSU Academic Scholarships for the 2002-2003 academic year.
They include Vermillion High School senior Nicole Veitz, the daughter of Larry and Rhonda Veitz, Vermillion, who will receive the Dean's Academic Distinction Scholarship from SCSU.
Veitz, who will graduate from VHS in May, is a member of the National Honors Society, the Honors Program and a number of school sponsored activities.
She has also accepted into the SCSU Honors Program.
St. Cloud State University, established along the Mississippi River in 1869, is Minnesota's second largest public university. With 15,650 students, SCSU has the highest enrollment among institutions in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system. Nationally accredited programs and more than 100 majors are offered in the College of Business, College of Education, College of Fine Arts and Humanities, College of Science and Engineering, College of Social Sciences, and in graduate and continuing studies.
