Vermillion swimmers compete at Sioux City

Vermillion swimmers compete at Sioux City The Vermillion Area Swim Team (VAST) traveled to Sioux City and six swimmers competed in the Siouxland Sharks Tri-State meet, with Sara Hamlet coaching on Feb. 9.

Results are:

9-10 girls � Stacie Kjeldon, sixth in 100 IM, 50 free seventh 50 back, eighth 50 breast, ninth 50 fly; Katrina Collins, fifth in 50 fly, 50 free, eighth 100 IM, ninth 50 back, 19th 50 breast; Karissa Martin, first 50 fly, 50 free, 50 back, 50 breast and 100 IM.

11-12 girls � Erin Rasmussen, first 50 fly, second 50 back, 50 free fourth 50 breast, 200 IM.

13-14 boys � Andrew Manning first 100 back, 200 IM, third 100 fly, 100 breast; Darren Marten first 50 free, 100 fly second 200 IM and fourth 100 breast.
