Harrington lecture set April 9 at USD The College of Arts and Sciences of at The University of South Dakota announces the 49th annual Harrington Lecture, to be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. in Old Main's Farber Hall on the USD campus in Vermillion.

This year's lecturer is Dr. Leroy Nelson Meyer, USD professor of philosophy. Dr. Meyer will present "Moonlight in the Garden of Akademos."

Named in honor of the late Elbert Harrington, dean and professor emeritus of communication, the lecture series is an annual event featuring a distinguished professor who has served the university and college for 15 or more years.

A reception honoring Dr. Meyer will be held immediately following his lecture in the Coyote Student Center Rushmore Rooms. The event is free and open to the public.
