Traveling our wide United States this summer? Here are three new guides that will help make the decisions of "where" and "when" to take your summertime trips. Look for Guide to National Park Areas � Western States, Guide to National Park Areas � Eastern States, and National Park Lodges, all compiled by David and Kay Scott.

The dedication of the General Lloyd Moses Mini Park is scheduled for Sunday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. The ceremony will be held in the mini park, located on the north side of the library. Refreshments will be served in the community room after the presentation.

Check out the new display of toys and dolls loaned to the library by VPL staff members, Sandy Roe, of Moorhead, MN and the Cheng-Chuan Shen family. The library is gearing up for the Summer Reading Program, which celebrates readers and reading from around the world. Join the Winner's Circle during the summer of 2002.
