Erickson was nominated by Melanee Clark, director of laboratory animal services. Clark commended Erickson for her support, professionalism, enthusiasm and intelligence.
"I was impressed with Trisha from the first time I met her," said Clark. "She took it upon herself to make sure the business of the department ran smoothly while I was getting acclimated. She took the time and felt it important enough to get to know me as a person. I have witnessed this same caring attitude toward others as well."
