Lewis & Clark Visitor Center temporarily closed The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Gavins Point Project has temporarily closed the Lewis and Clark Visitor Center starting Thursday, April 11, for approximately 30 days. The temporary closing is required to provide for construction of a new parking lot.
The visitor center is located on the Nebraska side of Gavins Point Dam. The Gavins Point Project Administration Office will still be open for business Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
