Tanager golf team records another win by Jim Prosser The VHS girls� golf team won its fifth match in a row when it played the Madison Bulldogs at The Bluffs on Monday, April 8. The Tanagers posted a 178-198 nine hole victory led by Allison Stewart�s medalist score 38 and Karrie Plate�s 45.
The other Vermillion varsity participants were: Megan Deaver � 46, Jackie Thomas � 49 and Ashley Bjorkman � 51. The varsity season record is 5-0 in duals going into a match at Hartford with West Central, scheduled for Tuesday, April 9.
The junior varsity also won their match scoring a 224-256 whitewash.
Medalist was Dru VanKley with a 51. Other team members were: Nicole Veitz � 57, Kaylie Heesch and Anna Isaacson � 58 each, Chelsea Gauer � 62, Tristen Upward � 63, and Claire Bucklin � 66.
