Clay RWS announces $5,000 grant winners Ryan Haver and Jeri Lee Light of Wakonda are recipients of the Clay RWS Educational Grant Program.
Both have been awarded $500 grants to assist them with their college education for the 2002-2003 academic year. This is the 10th year of the program for members of the water system.
Haver will be enrolled at Lake Area Technical Insti-
tute in Watertown this fall. A 2002 graduate of Wakonda High School, he is the son of John and Jill Haver of rural Wakonda.
Light is the daughter of Stephanie and Jerry Light of Wakonda and will graduate from Wakonda High School in May. She will attend Augustana College in Sioux Falls this fall.
The Clay Rural Water
System is a member-owned, non-profit corporation head-
quartered east of Wakonda. The system provides water service to 1550 customers in southeast South Dakota.
