Exchange vows Lisa Jo Kyte and Scott Michael Bousquet were married Aug. 25, 2001 at 2 p.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE. The bride, daughter of Joseph and Sandra Kyte, Burbank, works as a benefits specialist for IBP located in Dakota Dunes. The groom, the son of Gerald and Vicki Bousquet of Hubbard, NE, farms and raises cattle near Hubbard.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dick Whiteing, pastor of the Jackson and Hubbard parishes. The bride's maid of honor was Kari Christensen, friend of the bride and matron of honor was Sherri Bousquet, sister-in-law of the groom. Her bridesmaids were Andrea Robbins, Jean Ahlers, Cheri Hogan, Ann Kuchel and Ashley Hogan. The groom's best man was his brother, Steve Bousquet.
His groomsmen were Jeff Bousquet, Orelous Bousquet, Pat Bousquet, Russ Bousquet, and Kip Ahlers. Ushers were David Kyte, Matthew Jordt, Rob Bousquet, Charlie Conrad, Scott Kuchel and Doug Hogan.
Following the ceremony, the bridal party took a hay rack ride to the Knights of Columbus Hall in South Sioux City, NE where the reception and dance followed. The couple resides on the family farm near Hubbard, NE.
