Gisi receives leadership award Bruce Gisi of Bowdle recently received the 2001-2002 Legacy of Leadership Award at The University of South Dakota. The award is sponsored by the W.O. Farber Center for Civic Leadership at USD. Gisi is a USD senior majoring in criminal justice.
Recipients of the award receive a $500 scholarship and a commemorative plaque as well as having their picture displayed on campus. To receive the Legacy of Leadership Award, the student must be a full time undergraduate student at USD who has completed at least 64 credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Prospective students must submit an application including a letter of nomination from a USD faculty or staff member. Award winners must have demonstrated exemplary leadership experience.
