SDSO principal players will grace VHS stage

SDSO principal players will grace VHS stage The South Dakota Symphony Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Susan Haig, will present a concert 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 3 p.m., at the Vermillion High School Performing Arts Center. The concert will feature many members of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra.

The South Dakota Symphony is blessed to have a very fine group of principal players performing with the orchestra. Among them are the members of the Dakota Wind Quintet and the Dakota String Quartet.

Corporate sponsors for the concert include Community First National Bank, CorTrust Bank, First Dakota National Bank, First National Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank, all in Vermillion. Tickets will be available at the door for $6 general admission. Advanced tickets are on sale at Mollet Music Company in Yankton and Nook 'n Cranny in Vermillion. Tickets purchased for the postponed Feb. 9 concert will be honored for this concert. All proceeds will benefit the VHS Performing Arts Center and the VHS Music Department.
