SVVCMC names Employee of the Month Pamela Irvine-Pearson, Sioux Valley Vermillion Hospital ward clerk, was selected as the June 2002 PRIDE Employee of the Month.
Irvine-Pearson has been employed at Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center since September 2001.
"Pam keeps the PCU (Patient Care Unit) running smoothly. She is a consistent presence who knows what is going on at all times. She always has a smile, is very pleasant and gets along with everyone. Pamela stays calm, and provides great help to anyone she can. She is a team player and truly exemplifies Service Excellence."
These are just a few of the many comments made in employee of the month nominations for Irvine-Pearson.
"Pam is a key coordinator of information and assistance to help our hospital provide Community Health Care at Its Best. Pam demonstrates daily the personal service, respect, innovation, dedication and excellence of our PRIDE Employee of the Month program. Pamela is a valued member of our great nursing team," said John Paulson, chief executive officer.
Pamela and her husband Dale reside in Vermillion and have four children and one grandchild.
