Bye, Johnson wed

Bye, Johnson wed Darcey Bye and Nathan Johnson were married June 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermillion, with Rev. Judy Johnson officiating.

Parents of the couple are Todd and Lynne Bye of Gayville, and Carolyn and Pete Lessenger of Pearland, TX, Alan and Deb Johnson of Whiteright,TX.

Maid of honor was Stephanie Bye of Gayville. Bridesmaids were Beth Poorveliet, Brookings, Jenna Lyngstad, Irene, Alison Scheopf, Viborg, Amanda Overgaard, Centerville, and Jennifer Livingston, Sioux Falls.

Flower girls were Morgan Erickson, Gayville and Jenni Erickson, Prescott Valley, AZ. The bride's personal attendents were Jamie Schlomer, Vermillion, and Angie Hansburger, Sioux Falls. Tabitha Hubert, Vermillion, and Emma Erickson, Gayville, attended the guest book.

Eric Johnson, Dallas, TX, was best man.

Groomsmen were Joey White, Midland, TX, Tony Johnson, San Antonio, TX, Three Carpenter, Des Moines, IA, and Brian Bye, Gayville. Ring bearer was Regan Bye, Vermillion.

Wedding music was provided by Becky Aga, Vermillion, Meghan Wounded Head, Gayville, and Monica Tolrud, Brookings.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Dakota Dunes Country Club, with Mark and Glynis Erickson as hosts. Cake was cut/served by Nadeen Peterson, Wakonda, and Janette Hubert, Vermillion.

The bride graduated from Gayville-Volin High School, in 1998. She is currently attending The University of South Dakota, pursuing a double major in English and special education. She will graduate in May 2003 and is employed at Minerva's in Sioux City, IA.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Lousia Muscatine High School. He received a degree from Muscatine Community College and is currently clubhouse manager at Dakota Dunes Country Club. The couple resides in Dakota Dunes.
