On Monday, June 24, the local FNB team played Crofton Teal at Yankton, and came up a winner 9-7, scoring three runs in the bottom of the final inning. Winning pitcher was Alex Schaack who was credited with seven Ks in 2 1/3 relief innings. Hitting leaders were: Michael VanDyke (triple), Tyler Steele (double), and Schaack, 2-2.
In a game played at Yankton on June 27, FNB beat the Yankton Angels 15-10 to improve their 7-1 season record. Alex Schaack was credited with the come from behind win as he pitched three shutout innings in relief. Hitting: Van Dyke, 3-3 (double and triple); C.J. Haakinson, 4-5; Nick Rasmussen, (double).
