Four Vermillion junior golfers place in Crofton tourney by Jim Prosser The Crofton, NE first annual junior tournament was held on June 24 at Lakeview Golf Course.
Played on a course with rolling hills and temps near 90 degrees with mild breezes, the 12-14 year-old boys� group, playing a regular nine-hole round, had Alex Schaack and Jordan Boots placing first (44) and second (45), in that order.
The 15-17 age group found Christopher Moen in second with an 82, and Brad Schaack with 85 for fourth place.
