In the first game, Kevin Bleil pitched a remarkable four inning complete stint, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out three batters, walking none. He was backed up by some great fielding as his mates commited only one error playing alert defense.

The offense got a good start, scoring four runs in the first inning while EP/J scored one. Led by Jared Burcham�s 2 � 3 hitting, two runs scored and two RBIs, every member of the team except one registered at least one run.

Other contributers on offense were: Jeff Gilbertson, 1 � 1, one run, two RBIs; Andy Ofstehage, 1 � 2, two runs; Brett Mockler, 1 � 2 , one run, one RBI; Drew Lawrence scored twice; Eric Rickord, 1 � 2, two runs, one RBI; Collin Prosser 1 – 1, one run scored; Adam Brunick had the hit that drove in the final two runs.

Line scores: Post #1 � 12 runs, 10 hits, 1 error, 4 lob; EP/J � 2 runs, 4 hits, 0 errors, 2 lob.

The second game was dominated by another pitching gem by Danny Holoch as he gave up only one unearned run on a miniscule one hit, striking out five batters. He was credited with the win when his team-mates backed him up with only one error while scoring 11 runs on 10 hits.

Summary: Post #1 � 11 runs, 10 hits, 1 error, 6 lob; EP/J � 1 run, 1 hit, 3 errors, 2 lob.

The offense was sparked by Brett Mockler who was 2 � 3, two runs, four RBIs; and Drew Lawrence 3 � 3, one run, two RBIs. Also contributing to the cause were: Jared Burcham, 1 � 1, three runs, one RBI; B.J. Campbell, 1 � 2, one run; Kyle Mollet, 1 � 2, one run. Eric Rickord and Adam Brunick each scored a run from the nine slot in the batting order.

The season record stands at 16 wins, 12 losses, with a Thursday � Sunday Rapid City Pepsi Invitational Tournament scheduled for the July 11-14 weekend.
