Preheim, Vagle and Florea at Gayville Gallery

Preheim, Vagle and Florea at Gayville Gallery Drawings in various media by Bruce Preheim of Parker and modern expressionistic paintings by Peder Vagle and Iaon Florea, both of Vermillion, are featured throughout August at the Gayville Gallery, 502 Washington Street, in Gayville. Hours are by appointment. Call 267-2859.

A reception for the artists will be on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. preceding the traditional old-time country music legend Bob Everhart's concert at the adjacent Gayville Hall.

Vagle was born and raised in Huron and studied for his BFA in painting at USD. Preheim, a native of Marion, also picked up his fine arts degree from USD before earning an MA in art at West Virginia University. Florea ia a native of Romania who completed his MFA degree in painting at USD last year.
