Workers from Mid Continental Corporation continue to make progress in tuck pointing the Washington Street Arts Center. The tuck pointing is necessary to prevent water damage that has already begun to occur even though there has been work over the years to improve the building. Contributions for the tuck pointing have come from Clay County, the city of Vermillion, the Deadwood fund and Vermillion citizens. Additional funds are still required to help pay for the $34,000 project.
